Thank You, Environment Southland!

At the start and end of this term Mark, from Environment Southland came to Windsor North School to talk to us about water. It was connected to our inquiry and helped us understand more about the Waihopai River.

Sadly, our trip to the Waihopai River was cancelled, because of nasty bacteria, but we were able to learn why when he came. We also got to see some of the small bugs that live in the river that can tell us stories about how healthy the river is. Our Zoomy camera came in handy, being able to see things like mayflies and damselflies up close.
